Club Singlets
Club Singlets must be returned on May 8th at the Sheridan YMCA from 6:00 p.m. -- 7:00 p.m.
If you are not able to make this time, please contact a board member prior to the 8th to make other arrangements. If club singlets are not returned at this time or prior arrangements are not made, you will forfeit your deposit money. You will still be obligated to return the singlet to the club.
Deposits checks will be issued at the Sheridan YMCA between 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. on May 8th.
A club board meeting will follow at 7:00 p.m. Any questions please contact a board member.

A copy of your hotel receipt must be turned in to the YGWC board in a timely manner in order to be reimbursed. Each hotel night will be reimbursed up to $100.00 per night. Only lodging and lodging tax are reimbursable, i.e. no food, no movies, etc. Please allow two (2) weeks for reimbursement.

CLUB Pictures
Club pictures for ALL YGWC wrestlers will be Thursday, January 17th at the Sheridan High School wrestling room at 6:15 p.m.
Wrestlers are to wear jeans and a plain white t-shirt for the group picture and wear CLUB singlet, headgear (optional) and their wrestling shoes for their individual picture.
There will be no wrestling practice tonight.
Older CLUB singlets will be available for purchase, $20 each (cash or check accepted). If you prefer not to purchase an older CLUB singlet, your wrestler can still borrow one to wear for their individual picture.

In addition, the club hosts a local multi-day tournament and camp. Our tournament is put together with all volunteers, but many supplies are needed to put on a successful tournament.

City Brew Coffee is available in ¾ pound bags, available in ground or whole bean.

Profit is subject to change depending upon the policy/pricing of City Brew Coffee.
Coffee will be sold in two ways:
1. Sold at the local farmer’s market (or any other board approved group function/venue)
2. Sold individually (on your own)

Currently held every Thursday evening (5-7pm) from July 19th – September 15th at the Whitney Commons . A club booth will be set up. 100% of the profits received from the local farmer’s market (or other group function/venue) revert back to the club for general use. ** Help would be greatly appreciated! Please sign up.**
Individual
Coffee bags can be checked out starting July 16th through Amber or Megan. 50% of the profits (currently $2.00) will go towards an individual fund in your name. The other 50% of the profits revert back to the club. 100% of the sales of the coffee must be turned in to the club treasurer in a timely manner. Receipts will be issued for all money that is turned in to the treasurer. Please keep your receipts, as to ensure that they match-up/correlate with the Treasurer’s books. This makes YOU accountable and the CLUB accountable.
50% of the profits made from these individual sales, can be used towards the costs (fuel, hotel, food, entry fees, etc…) of attending a large wrestling tournament(s) (Monster Match,Salt Lake Slam, Western Grand Nationals…) and/or used towards the entry fees for any wrestling camp. The sales cannot be used towards attending any Wyoming tournament. The goal in raising individual funds from coffee sales is to encourage wrestlers to attend larger tournaments and camps to gain valuable wrestling experience while helping defray the costs of traveling farther away.
Individual funds can be used starting with the 2012-2013 season (September 1, 2012 – August 31, 2013). Funds can be carried over from wrestling year to wrestling year, so long as you are a registered member of the Young Guns Wrestling Club (YGWC). Individual funds will expire once membership is terminated with YGWC. Expired funds will be forfeited and used to cover expenses of maintaining the traveling account (checks, fees, etc…) and/or may be diverted back to the club to be used at the discretion of the YGWC board.
REIMBURSEMENT-BASIS ONLY (applies only to tournaments)
Upon your return from a tournament, you must present valid, identifiable receipts (or any other sufficient proof to the YGWC Club Treasurer). The Board has the discretion to determine whether a receipt or proof is viable. Reimbursement will ONLY occur AFTER attendance of the tournament. There will be NO advances made for any tournament. NO EXCEPTIONS!!!

50% of the profits made from these individual sales, can be used towards the costs (fuel, hotel, food, entry fees, etc…) of attending a large wrestling tournament(s) (Monster Match,Salt Lake Slam, Western Grand Nationals…) and/or used towards the entry fees for any wrestling camp. The sales cannot be used towards attending any Wyoming tournament. The goal in raising individual funds from coffee sales is to encourage wrestlers to attend larger tournaments and camps to gain valuable wrestling experience while helping defray the costs of traveling farther away.
Individual funds can be used starting with the 2012-2013 season (September 1, 2012 – August 31, 2013). Funds can be carried over from wrestling year to wrestling year, so long as you are a registered member of the Young Guns Wrestling Club (YGWC). Individual funds will expire once membership is terminated with YGWC. Expired funds will be forfeited and used to cover expenses of maintaining the traveling account (checks, fees, etc…) and/or may be diverted back to the club to be used at the discretion of the YGWC board.
REIMBURSEMENT-BASIS ONLY (applies only to tournaments)
Upon your return from a tournament, you must present valid, identifiable receipts (or any other sufficient proof to the YGWC Club Treasurer). The Board has the discretion to determine whether a receipt or proof is viable. Reimbursement will ONLY occur AFTER attendance of the tournament. There will be NO advances made for any tournament. NO EXCEPTIONS!!!

WAWA 2011 Mat Official of the Year 5/9/12
Kenny Osborne was presented with the 2011 Mat Official of the Year at the 2012 State Greco-Roman Tournament in Casper on May 4, 2012.
Kenny was recognized for his outstanding dedication and continuing leadership in the sport of Wyoming wrestling and Wyoming officials.
Kenny recently earned his Silver Coaching Certification in Iowa City, Iowa in April. Kenny was also recently elected to the WAWA position of State Coach for the 2012-2013 season.
Congratulations, Kenny! THANK YOU for your commitment to the Young Guns Wrestling program.

Jacob Matthew Ahrens, 6, of Sheridan passed away on Friday, February 10, 2012 at his home surrounded by his family and friends.
Jacob was born October 15, 2005 in Victorville, California to Joshuea Ahrens and Amie Hasman. He was diagnosed with stage 3 brain cancer in December 2010. Jacob fought a GREAT fight, with courage and dignity.
Jacob was an AMAZING little boy!! He brought a smile to everyone he met, love and laughter to their hearts. His time as an Angel here on earth was not long yet made a huge impression on everyone who knew of him. He liked wrestling, dirt bike riding, camping, fishing, Muttin Bustin, singing, dancing and playing with his friends. He attended Holy Name Preschool last year and kindergarten at Coffeen Elementary School this year. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his parents, Josh and Tina Ahrens of Sheridan, WY, Amie and Skip Dixon of Helendale, CA, brothers and sisters; Jessica Sherman, Helendale, CA, Kelsey Baker, Wright, WY, Tyler Combridge, Sheridan, WY, Joshuea and John Ahrens, Sheridan, WY, Joccelyn Ugarte, San Diego, CA. Some things that sponsor money help with are: club meals, club water, cleaning supplies for mats, awards/incentives, paper, copies, postage, end-of-the-year-picnic, supplies and training materials. In addition, every season the club hosts a local two-day tournament. This tournament is put together with all volunteers, but many supplies are needed to put on a successful tournament.
